Nearly half of the children in Golborne and North Kensington are living in poverty, says Save the Children in a recent survey, putting us amongst the worst areas of deprivation in the country. Your MP Karen Buck said the Tory Council has the responsibility to start working to seriously address this dreadful situation instead of just talking.

 

Golborne Councillor Bridget Hoier said, "The Council has £179 million of residents’ money stashed in their coffers doing nothing  when they could use some of it to help many poor families and their children".
