Let’s make Kensington red

London Assembly Tories have tried to abolish the free travel scheme for all under-18s in full time education that was set up by London Mayor, Ken Livingstone.  This concession saves families with school-age children £350 yearly for each child.  Also, London Council’s Tories, led by RBKC leader, Merrick Cockell, and supported by the Liberal Democrats, are threatening to severely reduce or even abolish the Freedom Pass used by 21,916 Borough pensioners and people with disabilities.

Golborne Councillor Pat Mason said, "This shows the true, disgusting face of the Tories, attacking the poorest and most vulnerable people in North Kensington".
